One of the big matches scheduled for WWE Evolution in October will feature the returning Trish Stratus against Alexa Bliss. WWE.com caught up with Bliss before the SummerSlam pay-per-view. She revealed that she found out about her Evolution pay-per-view match with Trish Stratus just like everyone else did.
“I found out like everyone else did on Twitter, which is pretty cool. I saw the tweet and the notifications and my phone kept going off. I checked my phone and I saw the WWE tweet and I was really excited and surprised because I love Trish. I always watched Trish growing up.”
Bliss said that she is really excited for this opportunity because she didn’t get a chance to be in a match at the Royal Rumble.

Meanwhile, Sasha Banks expressed disappointment at this news because she was lobbying for the match with Stratus. “I’m not okay,” she said in a comment underneath WWE’s official announcement on Saturday night.
Hopefully, they will have something worthwhile for Banks at the Evolution pay-per-view.
As of right now, here is what WWE has planned for the show:
– The finals of the Mae Young Classic
– Alexa Bliss vs. Trish Stratus
– Ronda Rousey vs. a returning WWE Superstar (it’s a spoiler but click here if you want to know)
– A Raw Women’s Championship match
– A Smackdown Women’s Championship match
– An NXT Women’s Championship match
– Also, it is expected that names like Lita, Beth Phoenix and Michelle McCool will be on the show in some form.
