What happened after WWE SummerSlam went off-air?

Last night’s WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view certainly left fans excited – whether they enjoyed it or not.

Roman Reigns finally toppled Brock Lesnar to win the Universal Championship. Before the match even got underway, Braun Strowman came out to the ring and announced he’d cash-in his Money In The Bank briefcase for a match with the winner. At one point in the bout, Lesnar attacked Strowman with an F5, a beatdown with the MITB briefcase and a steel chair.

When Lesnar got back into the ring, however, Reigns hit him with a final Spear for the three count and the title. Reigns celebrated on the top rope with the Universal Championship to end the show. After SummerSlam went off-air, Reigns continued to celebrate in front of the Barclays Center crowd.

As “The Big Dog” made his way backstage, Strowman got to his feet and limped up the entrance ramp. He stopped to pick up his MITB briefcase, which Lesnar had thrown earlier on during the match. Strowman took one glance at the crowd before continuing to head backstage.
