Tensai is getting a name change. He will now be known as Jason Alberts going forward. The company wants him as a permanent announcer so they felt that the Tensai name was out of place.
Triple H praised the NXT wrestlers after Thursdays show and the company was said to be very pleased with the show overall, other than the WWE Network stream issues.
For those wondering why Sami Zayn didn’t get the win over Cesaro on NXT ArRival on Thursday night, the thinking behind the decision to give Cesaro the win was that Cesaro is about to get a big push after WrestleMania and he’s being established on the main roster and there were a lot of new fans watching the show so it made sense to keep Cesaro strong rather than give Zayn the win. They felt that Zayn still came off looking strong with his performance and was not hurt at all by the loss. Zayn was getting tons of praise by WWE officials backstage.
