WWE Hall Of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin was insulted at a Denny’s restaurant today – his words.
“The Texas Rattlesnake” took to Twitter and posted a photograph of his breakfast at a Denny’s. He also mentioned in the caption that he was mistaken for fellow Hall Of Famer, Goldberg, by someone at the establishment. Austin joked that he had “never been so insulted”:
Just got mistaken for @Goldberg at Denny’s this morning. I’ve never been so insulted. #whosnext? pic.twitter.com/J00swcYHBd

Austin and Goldberg were both prominent stars for their respective companies during The Attitude Era. Goldberg was WCW’s top star in the late ’90s while Austin was the same for the WWE. Upon WWE purchasing WCW, fans talked of a possible dream match between Goldberg and Austin.
Goldberg, however, wouldn’t sign with WWE for another few years. He recently returned to WWE action in 2016. Goldberg feuded with Brock Lesnar and even had a run with the Universal Championship. Eventually he dropped the strap to “The Beast” at WrestleMania 33 last year and was subsequently inducted into the Hall Of Fame.
