ALL IN: Zero Hour
The show kicks off with Cody and The Young Bucks walking out. Cody said they only have 90 seconds to talk because of an upcoming commercial break. Matt Jackson asked for pyro but no pyro came out. Matt said they were working out the kinks but the pyro happened on the second try. Nick said that there should always be a cameo on every show from a wrestling Legend. They introduced Road Warrior Animal, who came out on a motorcycle. Matt asked if the fans like free merchandise so they had people from Hot Topic out to throw free merch to the fans.
The Briscoes vs. Frankie Kazarian & Scorpio Sky
Great match, especially as a pre-show opener. The match went just under 20 minutes. The Briscoes were about to hit the doomsday device but Kazarian caught Mark and powerslammed him to get the pin.
Alicia Atout interviewed Kenny Omega backstage. They aired plenty of Pro Wrestling Tees commercials during this show.
The Over Budget Battle Royale: Jordynne Grace, Moose, Rocky Romero, Colt Cabana, Ethan Page, Brian Cage, Billy Gunn, Jimmy Jacobs, Marko Stunt, Brandon Cutler, Bully Ray, Tommy Dreamer, The Hurricane, and others.
Dalton Castle was on commentary for this match. Late in the match, Jordynn Grace eliminated Brian Cage and she got one of the biggest pops of the match. Then she faced off with Bully Ray. Bully tried to hit a superplex off the top on Bully but she shoved him off and dove on him with the whats up headbutt. Grace was later eliminated by Bully and all we had left was Bully and Colt Cabana. Colt used a chair on Bully but he was later eliminated. Flip Gordon surprised Bully and eliminated him. Flip was at ringside under a mask for most of the match. Flip is now booked for ALL IN and will challenge Jay Lethal on the main show.
ALL IN Main card
We got tons of emails from fans saying that they had trouble connecting to the stream on FITE TV and the ROH app.
MJF vs. Matt Cross
A very good opener for the main show. Cross won after hitting the Cutter and the Shooting Star Press. MJF is going to be a big star.
Sean Mooney interviewed Nick Aldis backstage.
Stephen Amell vs. Christopher Daniels
Jerry Lynn was the special referee for this match. Considering his lack of experience, Amell looked alright in this match. He even did a coast-to-coast dropkick on Daniels from one side of the ring to the other side. Seconds later, Amell did a dive onto Daniels through a table but he crashed and burned because Daniels moved out of the way. Lynn was counting both men out but he wanted a winner so he picked them both up and shoved them back in the ring. Daniels was furious. Lynn removed his shirt and Daniels shoved him. Lynn shoved back and almost caused Daniels to lose because Amell got a roll up on him. After several near-falls, Daniels won after hitting BME off the top. Pretty good match and Amell exceeded expectations. Amell and Daniels shook hands after the match.
Tenille Dashwood and Mandy Leon joined the commentary table.
Madison Rayne vs. Tessa Blanchard vs. Britt Baker vs. Chelsea Green
Blanchard hugged her father Tully Blanchard and stepfather Magnum, T.A. on the way to the ring. This was a pretty good match with a few blown spots. Green his a Canadian Destroyer towards the end of the match but Blanchard was able to get the win with a hammerlock DDT. Everyone hugged after the match.
NWA World Heavyweight Championship
Nick Aldis (Champion) vs. Cody Rhodes (w/Brandi Rhodes)
Brent Tarring was on commentary for this match. Tarring called Cody’s first match when he was in Ohio Valley Wrestling. Diamond Dallas Page, Tommy Dreamer, Glacier, his father-in-law, and Pharoah walked him out to the ring. Aldis was accompanied by Jeff Jarrett, Sam Shaw, Shawn Daivari and Tim Storm. Earl Hebner was the special referee. About 10 minutes into the match, Rhodes caught an elbow smash to the face but he stayed down at ringside. Hebner held up the “X” so signal to the back that he was injured. DDP ran down to ringside to talk to Rhodes. Daivari walked down and shoved DDP and then shoved Hebner but DDP ran in the ring and hit the Diamond Cutter on Daivari. Late in the match, Brandi put her body over her husband because he was taking so much punishment. Aldis came down with a diving elbow off the top and onto Brandi. Rhodes was finally able to hit the Disaster Kick and Cross Rhodes and almost got a pin as the crowd went nuts. Aldis went for a sunset flip but Rhodes caught him and pinned him. Fantastic match.
Chicago Street Fight
Adam Page vs. Joey Janela (w/Penelope Ford)
No rules in this match which meant all weapons were legal and one of those weapons was literally a barrel from Cracker Barrell. Janela sprinted off of it and did a dive onto Page in the crowd. Late in the match, Page hit a Burning Hammer onto a ladder that was wedged between the ring and the railing at ringside. Ford attacked Page late in the match and Paige was going to hit her back but she did a Matrix move and avoided it and she followed up with a dive onto Page at ringside. Then Janela did an elbow dive onto Page through a table at ringside. Minuted later, Page did a running powerbomb on Janela off the stage and through a table on the floor. Page almost had the win after hitting Rite of Passage but Ford broke up the pin and she had a trashbag in her hand. The bag had the cursed boots from Being The Elite. Page superkicked Ford in the face but Janela hit a Superkick on Page for near fall. Later in the match, Page hit Janela with the same phone he used to kill Joey Ryan. Then he hit Rite of Passage off the ladder and through a table. After the match went out, the lights went out and a bunch of men dressed as penises (yes, that is correct) lined up the entrance way and Joey Ryan made a surprise entrance. Ryan confronted Page and he did his trademark dick flip on him. Page was taken away by the penises.
ROH World Championship
Jay Lethal (Champion) vs. Flip Gordon
Lethal did a full tribute to Randy Savage with the actual WWF theme song and the same gear he wore in 1994. He was accompanied to the ring by Lanny Poffo. Lethal retained but Bully Ray ran down to attack him and Gordon. Colt Cabana made the save and they all put Bully through a table in the ring.
Kenny Omega vs. Pentagon Jr.
Omega won after several false finishes. This may have been the match of the night on an excellent show. Omega was finally able to win with the One-Winged Angel. After the match, the lights went out. The lights came back on and Pentagon got up but it was Chris Jericho. Jericho destroyed Omega and then grabbed the mic and said that he would him at the Chris Jericho Cruise.
Kazuchika Okada vs. Marty Scurll
Another great match with tons of false finishes. It started out slow and it was a long match but things really picked up during the second half. Okada was able to get the pin after several Rainmakers.
Rey Mysterio, Bandido and Fenix vs. The Young Bucks & Kota Ibushi
This was a crazy match and fast-paced from the start. The Bucks won it after hitting the Meltzer Driver. You should go out of your way to see the replay if you missed this show.
