You never know who might show up when you attend an NXT live event. WWE has been sending main roster stars to make surprise appearances in recent months and the fans at the show in Buffalo, NY got a nice treat.
Smackdown Live Superstar Luke Harper appeared on the show and he challenged Ricochet for the NXT North American Championship. As you could imagine, the crowd went nuts when he came out. The match was started and fans chanted “Brodie Lee,” the name he used years ago before he joined WWE.

Ricochet was able to retain his title but something tells me that this might not be the last time we’ve seen Harper at an NXT live event. Tyler Breeze also worked on this show.
If you are wondering why Harper was booked for an NXT live event, it’s because creative doesn’t have anything for him right now since his partner Erick Rowan went down with a shoulder injury.
