WWE does not want fans to boo Charlotte Flair

Several readers have pointed out that signs were being taken away from fans as they entered the AT&T Center for the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view.

One fan tweeted out a photo that appeared to show a stack of confiscated signs sitting near one of the security chairs at ringside. As you can see below, the sign sitting on top says “Boo the Woo,” a reference to Charlotte Flair.

Security is usually told by someone backstage to remove certain signs so this appears to be a case of WWE trying to control the crowd and it is clear that they do not want fans to turn on Flair.

As previously noted here on WrestlingNews.co, WWE has backed off on trying to push Becky Lynch as a heel. Instead, she is now being portrayed in a tweener role where she is not exactly a babyface but she’s not a heel either. Lead Creative member “Road Dogg” Brian James said this week that WWE just wants fans to pick a side in this feud and they are no longer trying to get people to turn on Lynch.
