“Mr. Wonderful” Paul Orndorff will get to keep his house. On Saturday, we posted a link to a GoFundMe set up by Orndorff’s son in an effort to raise funds to save his house. Orndorff owed almost $10,000 in property taxes and has been dealing with brain-related health issues in recent years. The house would have foreclosed on October 1st if he did not come up with the money.
Brian Blair noted on Twitter that Orndorff has trouble recognizing old friends due to his brain issues.
Shane, I just noticed my reply was messed up. Anyway, we were at the PWHF in Iowa and Paul asked me Gerald briscoe's name four or five times, when we both grew up in wrestling with Gerald. It's really a sad thing Shane, as he really only immediately recognizes his family and me

The fundraiser went viral and in just a few days, he has surpassed the $10,000 goal. “Mr. Wonderful” took some time to record a video to thank the fans for helping him save his house.
“I’d like to thank all the fans out there for their donations, their support, all the things that they did for me,” Orndorff said. “I gave my life to professional wrestling and to the fans. If it wasn’t for the fans I wouldn’t be here. I thank each and every one of them. If I can do anything for them, I will. I promise I will. So thank you all very very much and Mr. Wonderful Paul Orndorff is still breathing.”

Orndorff’s son provided the following update on Monday:
“A quick update on Mr. Wonderful’s robe. The winning donation, with his permission I would reveal, declined to accept and offered that I auction to raise additional money for my father. I completely agree, however, due to your generosity, I will be donating the robe to the Cauliflower Alley Club for their next auction to raise money for other wrestlers in need. If you ever question what these men went through, check out their website. Brian Blair is my dads best friend and is like my older brother. Without his support and love, we wouldn’t be here today. Thank you BB! We love you.”
Orndorff’s son also posted paperwork (see below) to show that the property taxes on the home have been paid in full.
