The latest episode of “Being The Elite” was uploaded earlier today and it’s very noteworthy for several reasons.
The episode features The Young Bucks, Hangman Page, Cody and Brandi Rhodes signing their contracts with All Elite Wrestling. Matt Jackson commented on how this would be their next five years of their lives, confirming reports that they signed for multiple years with the promotion being funded by Jacksonville Jaguars owner Tony Khan.
The episode teases that this would be the last time you would see all of The Elite together for a long time. Marty Scrull is still under contract with Ring Of Honor through April and Kenny Omega finishes up with New Japan Pro Wrestling at the end of this month.
The big tease came at the end when the camera looks around the outside of the Tokyo Dome and then zooms in on Kenny Omega’s phone, which he said earlier that he lost. The same ticking that was heard during the countdown for last week’s AEW announcement could be heard on Omega’s phone.
