On Saturday there was a Twitter exchange between ROH star Matt Taven and WWE’s Scott Dawson over an alleged stolen t-shirt design. Apparently, Taven took issue with The Revival’s “conspiracy” storyline because Taven’s Kingdom stable in ROH did a conspiracy angle where they portrayed themselves as being held down by ROH, similar to what The Revival is doing now on WWE TV.
You can see the deleted tweet from Taven and the deleted response from Wilder where he wrote, “Thanks, brotha. Since you almost cost our whole 2012 tryout a job because you stole tanning lotion, I thought you’d be the last person to accuse someone of stealing something.”

At Sunday night’s Honor Reigns Supreme event, Taven and TK O’Ryan did The Revival’s “Shatter Machine” finisher and Dash Wilder saw the clip on Twitter. He wrote, “Hey @MattTaven, decent execution. Even better considering how many messages you sent Dawson BEGGING him to take down the tweet about you stealing tanning lotion while at a WWE tryout. Stealers gonna steal.”

WWE Superstar Maria Kanellis is a former member of The Kingdom and still friends with Taven. She wrote, “I’ve made a lot of mistakes and had to pay dearly for them. I don’t know what you are trying to prove but I know from experience that our business is a very small world. Be careful who you step on on the way up the ladder b/c they will be the same people you pass on the way down.”
Wilder responded, “I’m ok with that.”
