Mickie James has responded to Becky Lynch’s tweet that seemingly implied that she used her relationship with John Cena (from a decade ago) to get ahead in WWE.
For the long-time fans out there, the Cena relationship had nothing to do with the push she got. Management liked her work and that is why she was put in programs with wrestlers like Trish Stratus.
James wrote, “Sorry. It took me a minute to stop laughing. Seriously, all this build up?! All this anticipation… For that?! Wow! What a let down. How dissatisfying?! You know what, you’re right babe. You are #TheMan”

Aside from hyping a possible meeting in the women’s Royal Rumble match, it’s not clear why these two women are ripping each other on Twitter. They are on separate brands so it’s unlikely that they will be facing each other one-on-one in the near future.
