Velveteen Dream tells WWE he will not wrestle or appear anywhere: “I Know My Worth”

Velveteen Dream just issued a statement directed at WWE. You never know what is work and what is shoot on his Twitter account but what he said is interesting.

Dream (real name Patrick Clark) has been under WWE contract for a little over 3 years. He signed in October 2015 after being discovered on Tough Enough.

He made his NXT debut on February 5, 2016 and, at just 23 years old, has received a ton of praise from fans and people in the business for his in-ring work. Some of his best work can be seen on some of the NXT TakeOver specials.

Dream said this on Twitter:

“I Know My Worth.
The past year I’ve created a special atmosphere at NXTTAKEOVER.

Until WE* can come 2 an agreement as 2 what MY WORTH actually is, there won’t be any appearances or performances from
“The Velveteen DREAM” or
my likeness.
