There are several names that we haven’t seen a while that are in Phoenix for Royal Rumble weekend. Kurt Angle, Tye Dillinger and Big Show were all spotted but that does not necessarily mean that they will be appearing on the pay-per-view. The same goes for Luke Harper and Erick Rowan, except that the word on them has been that they would be ready for WWE TV very soon.
“Luke Harper, at least as of Tuesday, was not cleared,” Dave Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio. “He should be ready from his wrist surgery. It wouldn’t surprise me for him to be cleared at any moment.”
Harper was training at the Performance Center this week so he could be back on the road as soon as this weekend.
As we noted on Friday, Erick Rowan is cleared and he is Phoenix for Royal Rumble weekend so you can include Rowan and Harper as possible surprises for the Royal Rumble match or they can get involved in the SmackDown Tag Team Championship match.
