Lars Sullivan has broken his silence for the first time since leaving WWE Raw a few weeks ago due to an anxiety attack. As we’ve written about several times, he was supposed to start an angle with John Cena. The plan was that Sullivan would attack Cena, causing him to pull out of the Royal Rumble. This would lead to a match at WrestleMania.
Instead, WWE had to explain that Cena suffered an ankle injury as a cover reason for why he won’t be at the Rumble.
Here is what Sullivan said on Twitter:
“There has been a lot of speculation about Lars recently. It’s true, he went missing several weeks ago and I was just able to contact him this morning. Lars wants everyone to know he is in a good place, and is sorry to everyone he’s disappointed.
Best, WC”

For those of you wondering, Sullivan says the tweets from his Twitter account come from “William Christen, social media rep.”
During the NXT TakeOver: Phoenix conference call, Triple H told the media that Sullivan is in a good place and that nothing has changed. The company has been very understanding about his situation.
