Rusev took to Twitter to thank Hideo Itami (KENTA) and Dean Ambrose. As most of you know, Ambrose has chosen not to renew his contract when it expires in April and Itami has requested his release and it has been granted to him. We’re told that the reason why Itami was granted his release is that he plans on moving back to Japan so there is no concern about him signing with a U.S. company like All Elite Wrestling or Ring Of Honor.
Thank you Kenta and thank you Dean.

John Cena reacted (in his own indirect way) to the news about Dean Ambrose leaving by posting this photo with “John Moxley” written underneath.

At this point, any speculation on his future would be premature but Ambrose has told friends that he is not burned out and plans on continuing his wrestling career elsewhere. Of course, that will spark rumors about a possible jump to All Elite Wrestling. Ambrose is friends with Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks so AEW would be a good fit for him.
It is also worth noting that Double Or Nothing will take place in Las Vegas at the end of May and that is where Ambrose lives.
