Although her days as an in-ring performer are over, former WWE Divas Champion Paige still has a bright future in front of her. In December 2017, her in-ring career ended when she was in a six-woman tag match back at a live event that needed to be called off after she took a hard kick to the back.
It led to WWE pulling her from the ring and set up further testing that eventually ended once it was decided that she would not be cleared by WWE doctors to wrestle again. Paige then made a transition from an in-ring competitor to a manager and later the General Manager of SmackDown Live.
Now that the role of GM is over, she is looking to become a manager and expressed this desire during a recent interview with Sky Sports.
“At this point, I don’t know. Should I put it out in the universe again? I wanna be a manager for somebody,” she stated. “I don’t know who but I would love to do that. If that’s not the case then, I don’t know, I just want to be part of the company. I love this company. I just like to talk a lot. I don’t know if I’m any good at it, but I’ll give it a try.”
