Bobby Lashley’s days as an MMA fighter could be over

Aside from pro wrestling, WWE star Bobby Lashley is also an MMA fighter and competes in Bellator MMA. He holds a pro-MMA record of 15-2 and last competed against Josh Appelt in October of 2016.

The former TNA World Heavyweight Champion has put wrestling as his primary focus now that he’s back under contract with the WWE and featured on their flagship show, Monday Night Raw.

American Top Team manager and owner Dan Lambert spoke with Fightful said that he believes we’ve seen the last of Lashley competing in the MMA cage. However, it’s not due to skill but rather his choice.

“I’d be surprised if Bobby got back. Bobby’s an athletic guy and he’s got some talent, he could win some fights. He’s in a division that isn’t the deepest, and there’s a lot of guys that Bobby could beat if he dedicated himself to it full time,” said Lambert.
