As a follow-up to his earlier tweet about wrestling Adam Cole recently, Kevin Owens indicated that he may not come back to WWE right away.
Owens said, “I appreciate people getting excited after my tweet earlier today but I’m beginning to put some furniture together in my house just now and I’m not coming back to @WWE until I’m done with that and I suck at it so I’ll see you all in a few months, maybe more.
Thank you. Take care!”

Of course, Owens could be trolling because the word on him backstage was that he would be back shortly after the Royal Rumble. Sami Zayn could also be back soon as he’s been training at the Performance Center.
Owens has been out of action since October when he was attacked by Bobby Lashley. It was meant as a heel turn for Lashley and some believed that it was a face turn for Owens. The attack was a cover because Owens was taking time off to get knee surgery. WWE announced that both of Owens’ knees were injured.
There’s always a chance that Owens’ recovery has not gone as well as expected or he asked for more time off. Perhaps, we’ll find out more in the next couple of weeks.
