Ring of Honor World Heavyweight Champion Jay Lethal has broken a big ROH record as he set the record for most combined days as ROH World Champion as he has surpassed Samoa Joe as the sole leader.
Lethal won the strap back in June 2018 once he beat from Dalton Castle in a four-way match that also included Cody and Matt Taven. This marks the second time that he’s been the top star in the Baltimore-based promotion as Lethal’s first run lasted over a year between the summers of 2015 and 2016.
ROH congratulated him by posting the following on their official Twitter account:
“HUGE CONGRATS to #ROH World Champion @TheLethalJay for #BREAKING the record for most combined days as champion!! Send #TheChamp a congrats with: #Lethal646.”
