WWE appears to be in the early planning stages for SummerSlam.
Obviously, things can change because we are so many months away and nothing is set in stone but, as reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there has been an idea pitched to have Becky Lynch vs. Stephanie McMahon at SummerSlam. Another company source said the match is being talked about.
Although WWE indicated last month that they were going to get rid of authority figures, it looks like the McMahon’s will be on TV more frequently and it looked like Stephanie McMahon is turning heel again.
Stephanie appears to be playing the Mr. McMahon role from the late 90s and Lynch looks to be playing the Stone Cold Steve Austin role.
