All Elite Wrestling has secured a new alliance with another wrestling promotion.
On Thursday, just an hour before the AEW rally in Las Vegas, All Elite Wrestling announced that they had created an alliance with Mexico’s AAA promotion.
The news was made once AEW released a video on their official Twitter account that featured AAA’s Dorian Roldan announcing the partnership between the companies. You can check it out here:

This is an interesting and significant move for a variety of reasons. First up is the fact that NJPW (New Japan Pro Wrestling) has a working relationship with Mexico’s CMLL and Ring of Honor.
Thus, this move could lead to a further push to move AEW and NJPW apart. Also, Impact Wrestling has had a working relationship with AAA in the past. Obviously, this alliance could have some implications for Impact Wrestling.
