There is a change coming for the WWE Championship match set to take place on Sunday inside the Elimination Chamber.
Fightful is reporting that Mustafa Ali will be replaced because of “mounting injuries.”
Ali has been reportedly working through an injured tailbone and he got hurt again during the Royal Rumble pay-per-view. Last week, Ali’s eye was swollen shut after he sat up while taking Randy Orton’s Garvin stomp. The report goes on to say that the injury was accelerated at Sunday’s live event.
In order to get Ali out of the match, WWE’s plan is to blame Orton for the injuries. At this point, there is no word on who would replace Ali.
