Cody Rhodes underwent successful knee surgery today in Atlanta after getting injured back in November.
The surgery will keep him out of in-ring action for a few months but he should be ready in time “Double Or Nothing” in Las Vegas. As of yet, no match has been announced for Rhodes for that show.
Following the surgery, Rhodes tweeted, “Surgery completed. Went smooth. Back to work. (Cowabunga I guess)”

Prior to the surgery, Brandi Rhodes tweeted, “They just took my love @CodyRhodes back for surgery. Hate being on the waiting end this time. But I know he’s going to feel so much better in time for #DoubleOrNothing.”

Rhodes was injured last November while teasing throwing t-shirts to the crowd during one of the shows on the ROH Global Wars tour. An MRI showed that he had a torn meniscus but wanted to wait until Wrestle Kingdom 13 so he could get the surgery.
