Ronda Rousey names WWE star she wants to team with to challenge for Women’s Tag Titles

Although WWE Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey is the current top female champion in the WWE right now, she has her sights on winning some more gold.

The sports entertainment company is slated to crown its Women’s Tag Team Champions at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view event on February 17, 2019 at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. Nia Jax & Tamina vs. Sarah Logan & Liv Morgan vs. Sonya Deville & Mandy Rose, Billie Kay & Peyton Royce, Bayley & Sasha Banks, Carmella & Naomi are confirmed as the competitors in this match.

During the post-Raw Q&A that was posted on her official YouTube channel, the former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion named Natalya as the star she would want to team up with to challenge for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles one day.

“Well, I’m disappointed that me and Nattie aren’t even in the running for the tag titles at the moment,” Rousey stated. “It’s a lot going on right now, but I understand there’s a lot of other teams that are much more established than ours.”

Rousey would bring up how Natalya is still teaching her stuff in the ring as she continues to grow as a wrestler. “There’s like a part of me, the competitor, I want it all. I wanna do [as] best as possible. I want to do everything. But there are so many women in this company that have been doing so much extraordinary work for so many years and really deserve a shot at those titles to be the first-evers. I would be very honored to be if not the first challengers they have with Nattie then later down the line.” She would add, “Hopefully we can be champions at some point..”
