WWE Raw sees big viewership increase with the debut of top NXT stars

WWE got some good news this week as Monday Night Raw viewership rebounded in a big way.

It looks like the decision to bring in top NXT stars paid off as the show drew three million viewers in the first hour for the first time since August. The NXT stars were not advertised but there was buzz about them on social media and then WWE confirmed on social media that they would be on the show.

The average viewership for all three hours was 2.771 million viewers. That is their best number since last September and a good sign heading into WrestleMania.

Here is the breakdown for the three hours:

– 8 pm – 3.05 million viewers
– 9 pm – 2.84 million viewers
– 10 pm – 2.43 million viewers

The show may have also gotten a bump from fans tuning in to see the fallout from the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view. The bad news is the big viewership drop from the first to the third hour, which is higher than most weeks.
