Dave Bautista is making the media rounds this week to promote his new movie, Stuber, which hits theaters this weekend.
The now-former WWE Superstar’s rise in Hollywood has been amazing to see and now the question is who will be the next WWE star to make the big jump.
We caught up with Bautista and asked him has the chance to follow in his footsteps or who could be the next Rock or John Cena. As seen in the video below, his answer may surprise some.
“Ashley Flair,” he said on who has what it takes to make the transition from pro wrestling into acting. The name he gave is somewhat surprising because Charlotte Flair hasn’t indicated much (at least not as of yet) that she has plans to step into full-time acting but she’s young and, at 33 years old, she has plenty of time to figure out what she wants to do when her full-time wrestling career begins to wind down.
Towards the end of the clip, he confirms that he is indeed retired and you won’t see him in a match again. Last week on Chris Jericho’s podcast, he said that his match with Triple H at WrestleMania was his last one but he would be open to making appearances once in a while.
Check out the clip below and make sure to see Stuber, in theatres now.
