ROH has issued their final statement on the fan incident with Bully Ray at an ROH event in early June.
The story came after the fan told his side of the incident with Ray on his Twitter account where he noted that he was booing Allure (Velvet Sky, Angelina Love and Mandy Leon) that led to him exchanging words with the group.
The fan alleged that while having words with Velvet Sky, and Mandy Leon, he was spit on. This led to another exchange with the fan and group later in the show.
The fan claimed security approached him and took him to the backstage area where Bully Ray eventually appeared and security left the room. This led to Ray telling him to respect the women and ending the conversation by telling him to go be a fan. The fan was then taken back to his seat. ROH and Ray would later issue a statement on the situation.
PWInsider has since reached out to Ring of Honor for an update on their investigation, which is when the promotion issued the following statement:
“We have now concluded our internal investigation into the events that occurred in Portland on June 2nd and have taken appropriate actions with all parties involved. Our Code of Honor, which calls for sportsmanship, respect and honor in- and outside of the ring is a core value of this company and one we will continue to strive to uphold.
