New WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions crowned on Monday Night Raw

The WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship was on the line this week on Monday Night Raw.

The IIConics put their belts on the line in a Fatal 4-Way Match elimination match against Sonya Deville & Mandy Rose, Nikki Cross & Alexa Bliss and The Kabuki Warriors. The IIConics were supposed to defend the titles last week on SmackDown Live but the match never took place after Billie Kay and Peyton Royce claimed to be dealing with a “puppy fever.”

Rose pinned Billie Kay, which guaranteed that new champions would be crowned. Later in the match, Asuka forced Mandy Rose to submit to the Asuka lock.

The final two teams were The Kabuki Warriors and the team of Nikki Cross and Alexa Bliss. Kairi Sane was pinned by Bliss after Twisted Bliss which means that Bliss and Cross are the Women’s Tag Team Champions for the first time.
