During this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, WWE announced that the King Of The Ring tournament will be returning next week.
It’s been a few years since WWE used the King Of The Ring name. The first tournament took place in 1986 when Harley Race was crowned as the first king. The first King Of The Ring pay-per-view took place in 1993 with Bret Hart being crowned as the king.
Wade Barrett was the last person to be named King Of The Ring. It looks like the upcoming tournament will be exclusive to Monday Night Raw.
