WWE signs former Impact Wrestling star

WWE continues to hire new talent as they reportedly signed top indie women’s wrestler Santana Garrett, according to Squared Circle Sirens.

As of this writing, there’s no word yet on when Garrett will start by traveling down to Orlando, Florida to training at the Performance Center. It was noted that this is a developmental deal, which means that she’ll become a member of the WWE NXT roster.

There have been reports that the company has signed several top indie wrestlers that will begin training in September with Performance Center class. It’s possible that this is when the company confirms Garrett’s signing.

Garrett, formerly known as Brittany in Impact Wrestling, has found a ton of success thus far in her pro wrestling career. She’s won many titles including the NWA World Women’s Title, the Shine Title and Shine Tag Team Titles, the Wonder of Stardom Title, the WOW World Title and WOW Tag Team Titles.

She has worked for WWE in the past as she performed as an enhancement talent in NXT in 2013 and even took part in the 2017 Mae Young Classic. This is where she lost to Piper Niven in the first round.
