WWE has announced that The Undertaker will be appearing on the September 10th episode of SmackDown Live that takes place at Madison Square Garden. This was announced as part of the push to get fans to purchase tickets for the event. WWE will also be at MSG on September 9th for Monday Night Raw. Tickets are still available for both shows.
The Undertaker recently appeared at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view in July when he teamed up with Roman Reigns against Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre in a No Holds Barred match.
In addition to Taker’s appearance on September 10th, the King Of The Ring semi-finals will be held on that show and on the September 9th episode of Monday Night Raw.
These MSG shows would be their first TV shows in that arena since 2009.
Taker is also advertised to appear on the October 2nd episode of SmackDown Live, which happens to be the 20th anniversary show and the first episode on FOX. Several returning legends are expected to appear on that show along with most of the current roster.
