Backstage news on why The Street Profits haven’t been wrestling on WWE Raw

There was some speculation on social media from fans wondering why The Street Profits were not part of the Tag Team Turmoil match on Monday Night Raw.

There’s a couple of reasons for this. One is because they are still officially part of the NXT roster and they don’t want to integrate them into storylines right now. They were brought up to Monday Night Raw because of Paul Heyman and Heyman wants to keep them strong. Throwing them in a random tag team match would not do much for them.

Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE wants them to get over with the crowd. If they were added to the Tag Team Turmoil match then they would have to lose and that wouldn’t make sense for them right now.

The idea is for fans to get used to them in the backstage segments and when they eventually wrestle on Raw then they will seem like a big deal.

Fans of Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford can rest easy because there are plans for them. Of course, that can all change if Vince McMahon decides to change plans but everything is looking good as of now.
