It looks like WWE is getting things in place for Nia Jax’s return to the ring. Jax has been out of action since April because she needed surgery to repair both ACLs. There is no word on when she will be back but that type of surgery usually means several months off and the timeline for her return would probably be late this year or in early 2020.
WWE recently filed a trademark for “The Irresistible Force,” a phrase that Vince McMahon has used on WWE programming since the 1980s but is being used now to describe Nia Jax.
The trademark filing states that it’s for the following:
“Clothing, namely, tops, shirts, jackets, sweatshirts, hoodies; outerwear, namely, coats; bottoms, pants, shorts, underwear, dresses, pajamas, lingerie, clothing ties, scarves, gloves, swimwear; Halloween and masquerade costumes; footwear, namely, shoes, sneakers, slippers, flip flops, boots; headwear, namely, hats, caps; wrist bands; bandanas”
So, expect a renewed push for Jax when she returns to action.
Other recent filings by WWE include trademarks for Aliyah, WALTER, Matt Riddle, The Outliers and Brezango.
In related Nia Jax news, she took some time away from Twitter and she deleted her account for a few days but she’s back now and she also let her fans know that she will be part of the upcoming season of Total Divas when it returns to E! on October 2nd. Perhaps, her recovery from surgery will be covered on the show.
