CM Punk comments on his Starrcast III appearance

It’s not often that former WWE Champion CM Punk does pro wrestling related conventions but he did so on Saturday at the big Starrcast III convention at the Hyatt Regency Chicago.

In this panel, Punk talked about a wide range of pro wrestling topics including his WWE departure, potential comeback, and if he would take a phone call from Vince McMahon or Triple H. For the full recap, click here. 

Hours after the appearance, Punk took to his official Twitter account where he wrote the following:

Thank you @HeyHeyItsConrad. Thanks to your entire team and everyone who helped make my appearance @StarrcastEvents the best I’ve ever been a part off. Most of all, thanks to everyone who came through to say hi. Appreciate you all!!!

Punk actually got back in the ring to promote this appearance, which sparked some speculation about whether he would appear at AEW All Out that took place in the same city on the same weekend.

Obviously, that didn’t happen. Time will tell whether Punk ever makes a pro wrestling return.
