WWE has announced Roman Reigns vs. Erick Rowan for the Clash of Champions pay-per-view.
Reigns is looking for payback after it was revealed that Rowan was the person who pushed stage equipment on him several weeks ago on SmackDown Live.
Daniel Bryan has continued to deny any involvement in the incident but it’s clear that this storyline is leading to an eventual Bryan vs. Reigns match on a future pay-per-view. The original plan was to do Bryan vs. Reigns at SummerSlam but the feeling was that it was too early for that match to occur so it was delayed.
The match announced for Clash gets Reigns on the pay-per-view without burning through the big match with Bryan right away.
.@WWERomanReigns will be out for retribution when he goes one-on-one with the monstrous @ERICKROWAN at #WWEClash of Champions. https://t.co/w8kJU9PI2E pic.twitter.com/1QMRkRw02E
