This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite closed out with Jon Moxley announcing his decision on whether or not he will join Chris Jericho’s Inner Circle.
Moxley said he came to AEW to dominate and not for the money. He said he wants to learn from the greats and he put over Jericho as one of the greatest of all time.
Moxley, Jericho, Sammy Guevara and Jake Hager celebrated with bottles of champaign but it was all a swerve by Moxley. Jericho gave Mox the keys to the Ford GT that was shown last week and the celebration continued as Hager and Guevara left the ring.
Mox said he was just kidding and he thinks the Inner Circle is a stupid group. Mox smashed a bottle over Jericho’s head and then delivered the Paradigm shift on Guevara and Jericho.
It certainly looks like it will be Jericho defending the AEW World Championship against Moxley at the Revolution pay-per-view on February 29.
