WATCH: Kevin Owens comments on possible WWE NXT return

Kevin Owens made an appearance on Wednesday’s episode of The Bump where he talked about a wide range of topics.

During the interview, he was talking about how he sees the NXT Title just like the WWE and Universal Titles. He sees the Intercontinental and United States Titles as secondary championships.

Owens made it known that he would be okay with going back to NXT but if it was for the NXT Title then he would jump on the offer.

“The NXT Title is the top title on NXT and just the way that NXT handles itself. The way people view NXT I think that title is just as prestigious as the WWE one, the Universal one. If I were given the chance, like if they said ‘you’re going back to NXT, but you’re going to be competing for the NXT Title.’ First of all, if they came to me and said ‘you’re going back to NXT’ without the NXT Title part I’d be ‘okay.’ If the NXT Title was on the line as well, I would jump on that offer.”

Of course, Owens started out in WWE NXT where he had a run as the NXT Champion. He was then sent to the main roster.

Owens made a one-night return to NXT when he was revealed as the mystery partner for Tommaso Ciampa, Donovan Dijak, and Keith Lee in the men’s WarGames Match at the NXT TakeOver: WarGames III event in Chicago, Illinois at the Allstate Arena on the WWE Network.
