An interesting photo has surfaced online with Luke Harper and an AEW star.
The former WWE star was seen with Sammy Guevara at a Corpus Christi IceRays hockey game on Friday night. Obviously, this has sparked further speculation that Harper could be headed to AEW. You can see the photo here:
After Harper requested his release from WWE in April, WWE finally gave him his release last month while releasing other talents.
With Harper having friends in AEW, the belief is that he will join the promotion.
Although not confirmed, it’s believed that Harper has a 90-day non-compete so he would not be able to show up on another wrestling show until March.
It should be noted that he won’t be able to use the Luke Harper name due to WWE owning the rights to the trademark so he’ll have to go by a different name.
