On the eve of the biggest match of her career at Impact Wrestling’s Hard To Kill pay-per-view, Tessa Blanchard is being accused of being a racist and a bully towards other wrestlers.
There have been rumors over the years that attitude issues prevented her from signing with WWE and wrestlers have spoken about alleged locker room issues but a recent tweet from Blanchard has promoted several wrestlers to speak up.
It all started when Blanchard tweeted: “Hey women, try supporting one another. Cool things happen.”
Current NWA/former Impact Wrestling star Allysin Kay took issue with Blanchard tweets and alleged that Blanchard “spat in a black woman’s face” and called her the N-word in Japan.
It did not stop there because WWE NXT star Chelsea Green told her own story about her dealings with Blanchard. She tweeted: “You’ve consistently put down, bullied, and belittled countless female coworkers, including me. Is that support?”
Squared Circle Sirens’ Casey Michaels tweeted that Blanchard bullied Renee Michelle at an independent show. Most fans may remember Renee Michelle from her appearances on Monday Night Raw appearing alongside her husband Drake Maverick.
Blanchard issued a direct response to Chelsea Green’s tweet: “I’ve never been anything but kind to u. I’ve dealt with mean girls since I started..not saying I’m a saint, hell I’ve had my ups&downs & I’ve made silly decisions…Such is life. u have ZERO merit in your comments..Instead putting me down here for a little clout…you’ve got my #!”
Blanchard also issued a blanket denial. It does not address an allegation from a specific person but it appears she is addressing the allegation that she spit on another wrestler and called her the n-word. Blanchard’s denial: “not true. That’s my statement and the most attention I’ll give it because of how actually ridiculous it is.”

Black Rose (aka La Rosa Negra) is the woman who was allegedly spat on by Blanchard and called the n-word. She has responded and backed up Allysin Kay and Chelsea Green. She tweeted:

Blanchard is scheduled to challenge Sami Callihan for the Impact Wrestling World Championship on Sunday night at the Hard To Kill pay-per-view. Obviously, this is the last thing Impact needed before one of their big shows. It will be interesting to see if the company decides to respond to the allegations by changing their booking plans or staying with the finish that they have laid out. Their storylines would strongly indicate that she is/was scheduled to win the title tomorrow night. We’ll see if that is the case at the pay-per-view.
