The Tessa Blanchard story appeared to have been dying down in the last couple of days but the story is getting more traction on social media thanks to alleged text messages from Blanchard that appear to show an attempt to dig up dirt Allysin Kay.
For those of you who haven’t followed this story, Kay has alleged that Blanchard spat at independent wrestler La Rosa Negra (The Black Rose) and that Blanchard allegedly used a racial slur. La Rose Negra backed up Kay’s story and several wrestlers have accused Blanchard of being a bully backstage.
Kay posted text message screenshots from a friend alerting her to an alleged attempt from Blanchard to dig up dirt. All of this comes after Blanchard previously issued a statement where she denied using the n-word during her altercation with La Rosa Negra. You can read Blanchard’s statement by clicking here.
Here is what Allysin Kay tweeted today: “I said what I had to say so I’d love to move on, but I just got several msgs about @Tess_Blanchard trying to spread lies. Unfortunately for you, I’ve built my 11-yr reputation on being respectful. Instead of owning up to your mistakes, you lie, scheme & prove you haven’t changed “
She added, “This is one reason people don’t speak up. It’s also one of the reasons I felt I needed to be the one to do so. I have a thick skin, there’s no dirt on me, I have a large platform & amt of colleagues who vouch for me. I’ll gladly absorb this frontline of idiocy to shield my friend.”
As you can see below, the text message screenshots below show Blanchard allegedly reaching out to someone with the goal of trying to get some dirt out on her. That friend reached out to someone who knows Allysin to let her know what was happening.
Here is the alleged DM sent by Blanchard:
“I’m trying to convince an IMPACT employee to talk to you about Allysin Kay. Apparently she was a huge bully in TNA. He won’t talk to me cause the link would be apparent. But he is thinking of talking to someone else. Would you be interested?”
