It’s well known that Marty Scurll has signed a big money deal to stay with Ring of Honor that will give him booking power and allow him to wrestle for other promotions.
Just like other promotions such as WWE, AEW also had an interest in signing him. It was reported last week that AEW even had plans for how to introduce him on television. For more on that click here.
The latest episode of Being the Elite was released today that opens with The Young Bucks and Kenny trying to call someone. This was a parody about Marty Scurll.
Omega offered the person a full-time contract with AEW while Nick suggested to offer him the book and Omega offered them an Executive Vice President position with a $650,000 a year contract.
The person took the offer and can start right away which is when Omega noted how this guy is a veteran and sounded tired. The Bucks say The Elite is back, Kenny says they added a new member. Although The Bucks think Kenny got off the phone with Marty Scurll, it turns out that Omega signed Marty Jannetty.
At the end of the episode, Omega was on the phone with “Shawn” who told him that he accepts a guest training role at the WWE PC. Finally, Marty got on the phone where Omega told him that he would have to fire him over a major miscommunication on his part.
Kenny says not to tell anyone and Marty accepts it. This is where Omega told The Bucks that they would have to give him some hush money to keep it quiet which is where Omega revealed the deal is for $1 million, and he has to guest train.
