As we wrote about over the weekend, former WWE Tag Team Champion Sylvain Grenier noted in an interview with Pat Laprade that he was on his way back to the company.
As of today, Grenier is officially back with the company as a producer on Monday Night Raw. As you can see below, he was backstage at Raw for his first day on the job in his new role.
Grenier said he will be helping out the younger wrestlers but he knows that he has a lot to learn because the WWE system has changed since the time when he was with the company.
Grenier put over NXT and said he sees a lot of potential in Buddy Murphy and he loves the tag team division so he hopes to give some input.
Towards the end of the video he was asked if he might wrestle again. The 42-year-old gave the standard “never say never” line but his said his main priority is to work behind-the-scenes.
Grenier agreed to terms with the company in October after meeting with Kevin Dunn. Check out first comments on his WWE return in the video below.
