WATCH: Kacy Catanzaro opens up on her hiatus from WWE NXT

WWE’s Performance Center YouTube channel released this video of Kacy Catanzaro talking about her hiatus from the company.

There were mixed reports last September where there was a belief that she was out of action with a back injury and Catanzaro gave her notice to WWE because she didn’t want to wrestle anymore.

After months on the sidelines, she made her return to in-ring action on last week’s episode of NXT in a women’s Battle Royal.

In the video, she talked about how it was normal to be back as if she never left and a little surreal to be back here. She called the last few months crazy and weird.

She talked about how her dream was never to wrestle like other people who are in WWE. She had her own paths such as gymnastics and American Ninja Warrior.

“Those were my kinda forever dreams and I think that coming into something new like this it is fair that you have moments when you’re not sure. I think physically and mentally I needed to step away.”
