PHOTO: Chris Jericho spotted with WWE star, hints at AEW future?

AEW World Champion Chris Jericho got fans talking when he shared a photo with current WWE star EC3 on social media.

Jericho shared the photo on his Instagram account where he also gave a compliment to EC3 while also tagging AEW.

Obviously, with Jericho sharing this photo and saying kind words about him, fans think that EC3 could be headed to AEW. The current status of EC3’s WWE contract is unclear.

Jericho wrote, “Great chat with @therealec3 tonight in Orlando! Big things coming in the future for this talented brother…@allelitewrestling.”

EC3 responded with, “Great advice! Great show!”

EC3 has been out of action after having a concussion in September. As noted, WWE decided they wouldn’t pursue their “EC3” trademark last month after originally filing for it back in June 2019.

EC3 already filed to register the trademark for himself on April 23 of last year.

Ever since he was called up to the main roster from NXT, WWE hasn’t done much with him. Instead, he’s been used in backstage segments and working Main Event TV tapings, which is considered a lesser show than Raw or SmackDown.
