The WWE is always looking to add more athletes to its roster.
With that being said, one notable name that the promotion could pursue in the next few years is NFL star and San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle. Kittle has emerged as, arguably, the top tight end in the NFL and even helped lead to 49ers to this year’s Super Bowl, where they fell to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Kittle has made it very well-known that he’s a massive WWE fan, showing up backstage to shows, sitting front row for big events, and even storming off from NFL post-game press conferences to get to WWE events on time. Speaking to Rusty Simmons of The San Francisco Chronicle, Triple H commented on Kittle as an athlete, saying he’s “custom made” for WWE.
“In my world, that’s what I do: recruit athletes and find the next generation of athletes for WWE,” said Triple H. “He’s the kind of guy, who is an amazing athlete, but when you meet him and get to know his personality, you say, ‘oh yeah, he’s custom made for us.”
