WWE has announced when WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg will be on television next.
It turns out that he’ll be making an appearance on next week’s Friday Night SmackDown episode at the Gila River Arena in Glendale, Arizona on FOX.
He’ll do so to promote his next match under the WWE banner. He’ll challenge Bray Wyatt for the Universal Title at Super ShowDown on February 27 in Saudi Arabia on the WWE Network.
WWE set up this contest last week when Goldberg appeared via satellite when he mentioned that he wanted a Universal Title shot. This led to Wyatt appearing in a FireFly Fun House segment.
WWE continued the hype for this match when Wyatt had a brief exchange with WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan on Friday’s SmackDown.
Also announced for this show is a sit-down interview with Lacey Evans with Renee Young conducting the interview. As noted, Carmella vs. Naomi with the winner receiving a SmackDown Women’s Championship match against Bayley at Super ShowDown.
