SPOILER: Big name revealed for this year’s WWE Hall Of Fame

The latest name for this year’s WWE Hall of Fame class has been revealed.

Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that “The British Bulldog” Dave Boy Smith is set to be inducted. As of this writing, WWE has yet to announce the induction or who will posthumously induct the legendary pro wrestler.

Bulldog found a ton of success while in the WWE including reigns as Intercontinental, European, Hardcore, and Tag Team Champion. He passed away at the age of 39 on May 18, 2002.

This is something that Bulldog’s family has been pushing for over the last several years. This comes at an interesting time as Bulldog’s son, David Hart Smith, recently returned to WWE programming where he made an appearance on The Bump.

WWE has already confirmed Dave Bautista and the nWo (Kevin Nash, Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall, and Sean Waltman) as inductees into the class.

You can read about three other names that will be part of the class here.

The ceremony takes place on April 2, 2020 at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida, as part of WrestleMania 36 weekend. Tickets for the event go on sale Friday.
