Another big name is being reported for this year’s WWE Hall Of Fame class.
According to a report from Wrestling Inc., former WWE Champion JBL will be part of the 2020 Hall Of Fame class. During his WWE Title reign, JBL held the title for 280 days. He has also had runs with the Intercontinental and WWF Tag Team Championships. JBL retired from in-ring competition after WrestleMania 25, working as a commentator for the company for a time afterward.
In September of 2017, JBL announced he would be stepping away from his work with WWE to focus more on his humanitarian work in Bermuda. JBL’s last WWE appearance came at the 2018 Tribute To The Troops show, where he worked as a commentator. As of this writing, WWE has confirmed only Batista and the nWo (Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Sean Waltman) for the 2020 Hall Of Fame class.
It has also been reported that The British Bulldog, The Bella Twins, and Jushin Thunder Liger are also expected to join the Hall Of Fame class. The WWE’s 2020 Hall Of Fame induction ceremony will take place from the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida on Thursday, April 2.
