Tyson Fury is currently not scheduled for WWE WrestleMania 36 in Tampa, Florida but after his impressive TKO victory over Deontay Wilder on Saturday night, WWE would be crazy to not try to get him on the show.
Following the fight, WWE Intercontinental Champion Braun Strowman issued a challenge to Fury and he offered to put his title on the line. He tweeted, “Hell of a W @Tyson_Fury what ya say wanna try your luck for my #IntercontinentalChampionship ????? #LetsRunItBack#GiveTheWorldWhatTheyWant#RealHeavyweights”
Fury’s stock has risen so his asking price may be much more than what he would have asked for before the fight but it’s worth noting that he is a long-time wrestling fan and he has talked about wanting to do more in WWE, beyond the match he had with Strowman last fall at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia.
WWE has plenty of options. If they want to go with the biggest names available then Triple H and Goldberg are possibilities since they are currently not scheduled for WrestleMania.
Triple H and Stephanie McMahon were at Fury’s fight in Las Vegas on Saturday night and Triple H sent out a congratulatory tweet after the fight.
