There is some concern at from WWE about fans chanting for Chris Jericho and bringing in Jericho signs, according to Dave Meltzer on the Wrestling Observer website.
Tonight’s Raw is taking place in Jericho’s hometown of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada so that is why there is some concern about Jericho’s name being chanted.
Early in the show, there were some people who tried to start a Jericho chant but it was not loud enough to be picked up on television. I don’t know if signs were being confiscated but there are reports of a few (but not many) Jericho signs in the crowd tonight.
Jericho retweeted a couple of tweets about chants for his name in Winnipeg including the tweet below.
